Five major draft laws and national policies were placed on the agenda of the Cabinet’s plenary session held on Nov. 28 at the Peace Palace, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
The Cabinet will review and consider the Draft Law on the Approval of the Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement between the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the European Union (EU) and its Member States; and the Draft Law on the Approval of the Third Protocol on the Expansion of Fifth Freedom Traffic Rights between the Contracting Parties under the Air Transport Agreement between the Governments of the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Government of the People’s Republic of China.
The Draft Law on the Approval of the Implementing Protocol for Package 11 and Package 12 of Air Transport Services under the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS) will be also examined.
In addition, the meeting will review the Draft National Policy on Rural Development 2025-2035 and the Draft Progress Report on the Response to HIV and AIDS 2024.
Today’s agenda underscores Cambodia’s commitment to deeper regional integration, strengthened aviation frameworks, and renewed focus on rural development and public health.
