MAFF and WWF Discuss Community Conservation and Sustainable Development


Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, H.E. Dith Tina, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Director of Conservation Assessment for Southeast Asia, Mr. Chris Howe, met here on Jan. 28 to solidify their commitment to supporting community conservation and sustainable development.

The Minister highlighted successes in natural resource conservation, specifically the high priority placed on Mekong River dolphins—a national treasure of Cambodia and the world.

He encouraged the continued strengthening of cooperation and partnerships to enhance both conservation and development, ensuring effective results and long-term economic and environmental sustainability.
