H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, received here on Feb. 3 a farewell visit from H.E. Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Cambodia, upon the successful completion of his diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, both sides discussed and highlighted several key achievements, including: enhancing business connectivity and increasing trade volume by encouraging exchange visits between Indonesian and Cambodian investors, which facilitated a better understanding of investment potential, and providing support to Indonesian companies currently operating and intending to expand their businesses in Cambodia.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister expressed his profound appreciation for the Ambassador’s active efforts during his mandate, which significantly contributed to strengthening the bond of friendship and expanding cooperation between the two nations, particularly within the frameworks of economy, trade, and investment.
For his part, H.E. Ambassador expressed his deepest gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia as well as the Council for the Development of Cambodia for providing excellent cooperation and all necessary facilitations, leading to the brilliant success of his diplomatic mission.
He affirmed that despite the conclusion of his mandate, he will continue to serve as an important bridge in further promoting Cambodia’s investment potential and opportunities to the Indonesian business community.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister extended his best wishes to the Ambassador for success in his future endeavours and wished for the Cambodia-Indonesia friendship to remain steadfast and continue to flourish for the mutual benefit of both nations.
