Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Jean-Noël BARROT, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France, in Paris, France on Feb. 25.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the two Foreign Ministers exchanged greetings and best wishes, following their most recent engagement via telephone in December 2025.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Cambodia’s readiness to extend warm hospitality and to host the upcoming Francophonie Summit in 2026.
With regard to recent developments along the Cambodia-Thailand border, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister expressed profound gratitude to the Government of France for its steadfast support in helping to resolve this border dispute through peaceful means and in respect of international law.
