The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (AmCham Cambodia) will host the second Public-Private Sector Breakfast Briefing next month, aiming to further enhance Cambodia’s investment environment.
The event preparation was discussed here on May 18 in a meeting between H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), and Mr. Devin Barta, President of AmCham Cambodia.
The meeting reviewed and discussed the progress of the preparatory process and key agenda items, aiming to ensure that the event runs smoothly, flexibly, and fruitfully, while directly addressing the practical needs of investors.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister also instructed to focus on defining clear, targeted discussion topics that respond to current global economic trends, particularly by highlighting challenges and seeking collective solutions, aiming to ensure real investment opportunities for all businesspeople.
For his part, AmCham President Devin Barta expressed his deep gratitude for the Deputy Prime Minister’s feedback, noting that it will make the programme more vibrant, proactive, and significantly improved.
He also expressed his pleasure that AmCham has been entrusted with hosting this 2nd Business Breakfast Briefing, noting that it serves as a vital platform for enhancing direct and close dialogue between government leaders and private sector representatives.
Through the meticulous preparations between the CDC and AmCham, the 2nd Public-Private Sector Breakfast Briefing in early June is expected to continue serving as a key catalyst in enhancing Cambodia’s investment climate, making it more flexible and facilitating smoother operations for private sector investors.
The discussion concluded in a warm atmosphere of high cooperation, with both sides committing to making this event a success, aiming to further strengthen the strategic public-private partnership and contribute to Cambodia’s sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development.
