Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Dith Tina and Minister of Commerce H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul visited the Cambodian Pavilion at SIAL Paris 2026, an international food industry trade exhibition in Paris, France, on Oct. 19 to promote Cambodian agricultural products and expand their access to international markets.
The two ministers visited the Cambodian national pavilion at Hall 7, Stand J-347, where 16 Cambodian private-sector companies showcased a wide range of agricultural products that meet international standards, including cashew nuts, pepper, dried fruits, spices and other locally produced goods.
They also visited the exhibition booth of the Cambodia Rice Federation, where 12 companies presented Cambodia’s premium fragrant rice, which is already exported to and distributed in France, other European countries, the United States and additional international markets.
During the visit, the two ministers held discussions with representatives of participating companies and encouraged them to intensify trade promotion activities and raise the international profile of Cambodian products.
They also urged businesses to attract more international buyers, distributors and foreign investors to explore Cambodia’s agricultural potential, establish business connections and pursue new commercial opportunities through direct engagement at the exhibition.
SIAL Paris is an international food industry trade exhibition that provides a platform for businesses to showcase their products, connect with buyers and distributors, and explore opportunities for cooperation in global food markets.
Cambodia’s participation in the exhibition is expected to strengthen the presence of its agricultural products in international markets, expand export opportunities and enhance the competitiveness of Cambodian enterprises.
