Thai Prime Minister Begins Her Two-day Visit to Cambodia


Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, and her spouse started this morning their two-day official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her high-level delegation were warmly welcomed upon their arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport by H.E. Ms. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, and many other senior Cambodian officials.

Following her arrival, H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the Peace Palace.

During her stay in Cambodia, H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Spouse will be granted a Royal Audience by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace.

The Thai Premier is also scheduled to pay separate courtesy calls on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly.

This visit will further deepen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand with the signing of a number of documents on bilateral cooperation in various areas.

The visit is taking place as the two Kingdoms are commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations.
