Cambodia, Singapore Vow to Strengthen Army Cooperation


The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Singapore have exchanged mutual appreciation and were committed to further boost their bilateral cooperation, especially between their armies.

The commitment was made here yesterday in a farewell meeting between H.E. Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-In-Chief of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of Royal Cambodian Army and outgoing Singaporean Ambassador to the Kingdom H.E. Michael Tan.

On the occasion, H.E. Michael Tan expressed his gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) for making his diplomatic mission a successful and praised the RGC for timely taking the right measures to prevent and contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In reply, H.E. Gen. Hun Manet thanked the Government of the Republic of Singapore for the friendly relations and good cooperation, which started in 1965, and spoke highly of the diplomatic mission of H.E. Michael Tan which has strengthened and expanded the relationship and cooperation between the two countries.
