Cambodia Reports 65 New Cases of COVID19; One Recovered


Cambodia reported 65 new cases of COVID19, while one patient recovered on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 25 February 2021 (updated as of 7:00 a.m).

The newly infected patient is a 65-year-old Cambodian man returning from Africa through India’s flight to Cambodia on 21 February 2021.

Another six patients are Chinese men and women aged between 26 and 36 years old living in Sihanoukville.

The other 58 patients, involved in February 20 community event, are Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese nationals aged between 16 months old and 46 years old, who had involved in the February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 697 cases of COVID19 with 477 recoveries and no death.
