Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, reconfirmed here some of the nation’s sovereign services and strongly opposed any interference in those services.
At the inauguration ceremony of the new office building of the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) held here this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the GDCE and the General Department of Taxation (GDT) are the two major institutions representing the sovereign services of the nation.
The Premier expressed his firm stance to protect these sovereign services and oppose any attempt to interfere in them.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also revealed that some foreign experts had recommended Cambodia to sell the custom services to private company under custom service reforms.
The Prime Minister voiced his strong support for the modernisation of the national sovereign services.
