Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has re-appealed for high attention to COVID-19 as the fight against the pandemic has not yet ended.
“The new war, against COVID-19, is not over yet, everyone must be vigilant and must continue to follow all health preventive measures,” Samdech Techo Hun Sen said while presiding over the inauguration ceremony of Cambodia-China Friendship Thbong Khmum Hospital in Thbong Khmum province this morning.
The Premier continued that even though Omicron variant appears to be less severe than Alpha and Delta, people must not lose their vigilance because no one knows what the consequence will be in the future as scientists have not yet studied about it.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen re-encouraged people to stick to the Three Dos, Three Don’ts measure and get vaccinated, and not fall into the joke “If we are not infected with Omicron, we are not up to date.”
