Cambodia is going to host the 28th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Retreat (28th AEM Retreat) on Mar. 16-17, 2022.
During their virtual meeting on Mar. 14, Cambodian Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak and Singapore Minister for Trade and Industry H.E. Gan Kim Yong discussed the strengthening of trade ties between the two countries and the preparations of Cambodia for the forthcoming 28th AEM Retreat, and exchanged views on agenda of the retreat.
H.E. Gan Kim Yong expressed his full support and pledged to provide close cooperation with Cambodia for the success of the Kingdom in holding the ASEAN chairmanship, and especially in hosting the 28th AEM Retreat.
Both ministers were committed to continue the cooperation on trade between both nations, and in particular to attain the achievement of economic priorities in 2022 and employment priorities in 2022 under the pillars of the ASEAN Economic Community during Cambodia’s chairmanship of ASEAN.
