The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) is highly committed to closely cooperating with Cambodia for the success of its ASEAN chairmanship this year.
The commitment was highlighted by Professor Hidetoshi Nishimura, President of ERIA, in a virtual meeting with H.E. Pan Sorasak, Cambodian Minister of Commerce on Wednesday.
The ERIA delegation noted and expressed support for the key deliverables to be achieved during Cambodia’s chairmanship in an effort to build the ASEAN Economic Community and restore the ASEAN economy in the COVID-19 context.
For his part, H.E. Pan Sorasak thanked ERIA for its assistance for capacity building of the ministry’s civil servants, mainly for its support for the key deliverables.
Both sides vowed to continue their cooperation in organising training courses, workshops and research related events.
