Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has acknowledged French Development Agency (AFD) for its contribution to rural irrigation system rehabilitation in Cambodia.
H.E. Lim Kean Hor, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology, expressed the appreciation when receiving out-going AFD Country Director for Cambodia Ms. Ophile Bourhis and her successor Ms. Sandrine Boucher early this week.
ADF’s contribution is prominent in Kandal, Battambang, Preah Vihear and many other provinces, he said.
The WAT4CAM programme by the AFD and the European Union (EU) is playing a key role in assisting Cambodia’s water resource management and agro-ecological transition.
The AFD senior officials also reiterated their agency’s commitment to continue supporting the development of Cambodia.
