Cambodia, Australia Appreciate Good Bilateral Cooperation


Cambodia and Australia have spoken highly of their good bilateral friendship and cooperation, especially in the military field.

In their farewell meeting here on Jan. 3, H.E. Lt. Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army, and outgoing Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom H.E. Pablo Kang expressed their satisfaction with the relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as their mutual support during the COVID-19 outbreak.

H.E. Pablo Kang highly valued the rapid development of Cambodia in all sectors and thanked the Royal Government and people of Cambodia for their warm hospitality during his mission in the Kingdom.

H.E. Lt. Gen. Hun Manet congratulated the 70 years of Cambodia-Australia diplomatic ties, and lauded the outgoing ambassador’s efforts in coordinating and deepening the cooperation between both nations.

H.E. Lt. Gen. Hun Manet also highlighted the improved ties between the two countries’ armies, particularly in terms of training and human resource building.
