PM Proud of the Efforts to Further Transform the Education Sector into a Modern Education System


Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed his pride of the efforts and achievements in gradually transforming the national education sector into a modern education system.

Addressing to the graduation ceremony for more than 7,000 students of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment for the education reform as it has considered education as one of the main priority sectors.

“I am very proud to have contributed to my compatriots, teachers and professors in the past 44 years to restore the education sector from zero to the current state,” he said.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister praised the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for their endeavours in the education reform and re-appealed to all higher education institutions, both public and private, to continue to improve the education quality.
