Remains of five Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who died during the civil war in Cambodia found in Kampong Thom province have been repatriated back to their country.

Lieutenant General Som Sun, Commander of Kampong Thom Military Operation Area, handed over the remains to his counterpart Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Anh, the head of Vietnamese excavation team for the remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops, in an official event on June 28.
