The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection has called on teachers as well as the general public to preserve the national traditional culture.
The deputy prime minister, Samdech Men Sam An made the call during a get-together with civil servants, teachers, and students of Fine Arts High School and a visit to an art performance here in Phnom Penh recently.
Development of human resources is the origin of the establishment of culture, said Samdech Men Sam An, adding that to have culture, we must educate tradition to young generations and preserve the national traditional culture together rather than copying foreign culture.
She also spoke highly of teachers for their attention to teaching new generations to contribute to Cambodia’s national development.
