Cambodian PM Hopes More Support for National Demining Mission

Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has hoped that the national demining mission will further receive support from all stakeholders.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of new administration office building of Kampong Speu province and attached achievements in Chbar Mon city this morning together with the declaration of Kampong Speu as a landmine-free province, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said the support from the private sector, development partners, friendly countries, national and international organisations, and other stakeholders are very helpful for the demining commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The Cambodian Premier also expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders for their contribution to clear landmines and UXO in Cambodia to achieve its goal of a mine-free country by 2025.

“The contribution and support are all precious and admirable gestures for the people of Cambodia as well as the whole nation,” he underlined.
