Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this morning expressed his support for the modernity of the provincial administration and encouraged the authorities at all levels to provide better public services for the people.
While presiding over the inauguration ceremony to officially put into use the new administration office building of Kampong Speu province and attached achievements in Chbar Mon city, together with the declaration of Kampong Speu as a landmine-free province, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said the inaugurated building of Kampong Speu Provincial Hall symbolises the strength and modernity in providing administrative services to the public.
This is a response to a higher responsibility to promote the decentralisation, and give the sub-national administrative authority the right to coordinate their duties effectively for the people.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that the Royal Government needs to evaluate their effectiveness, focusing on both the national and sub-national levels.
This mandate will focus more on strengthening rather than expansion by using existing resources to reach the target and in an equitable manner for the public good, he stressed.
