Cambodia, Ireland to Further Tighten Their Bilateral Ties

Cambodia and Ireland are committed to further strengthening their bilateral and multilateral relations and cooperation.

The unwavering commitment was reiterated here on Dec. 5 by H.E. KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), and H.E. Ms. Deirdre Ní Fhallúin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ireland to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

According to the MFAIC, during the cordial meeting, H.E. KHUON Phon Rattanak expressed his deep gratitude to the Republic of Ireland for its invaluable assistance to Cambodia over the years, particularly in demining and education.

H.E. Ms. Deirdre Ní Fhallúin reaffirmed the Irish Government’s commitment to providing continued assistance to Cambodia in humanitarian demining and nutrition support through regional assistance.

Both parties also exchanged insightful views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
