Cambodian PM Thanks Koh Kong People for Supporting Ruling Party

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has expressed his gratitude to Koh Kong people for their support to the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) during the National Election in July last year.

Addressing the official inauguration ceremony of Samdech Techo Koh Yor Bridge in Koh Kong province this morning, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said with this strong support, CPP will be further committed for a better Cambodia from year to year.

“In July, a total of 83 percent of the people went to the polls, of which 82.5 percent voted for the CPP, which expressed their satisfaction and support for the CPP’s leadership, therefore the Royal Government led by CPP will further continue to serve the people for a better future,” he underlined.

Koh Kong is one of the coastal provinces in Cambodia. It used to be an undeveloped coastline and a mountainous, forested, and largely inaccessible area, but now the Royal Government has been actively supporting the socio-economic development in this province.
