Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Dith Tina has pitched potential agriculture opportunities with Israel, commenting on the latter’s effective agriculture human resource development.
The minister held a courtesy meeting at his office with H.E. Orna Sagiv, Ambassador of Israel to Cambodia, on Jan. 23.
According to H.E. Dith Tina, his ministry is promoting modern farming communities with the deployment of technical agricultural officials at the grassroots level.
The ministry is taking measures to promote the supply chain, reduce production costs, maintain prices, and secure high added value for Cambodian agricultural products.
Cambodia welcomes engagement by both private investment and development partners for the mentioned measures, particularly with a focus on quality processing of agricultural products for export.
He also appreciated Israel for its quality agriculture human resource development opportunities for Cambodian students and noted that those who had completed the training and study have been proven to possess strong knowledge and skills.
