Thai House Speaker to Pay a Visit to Cambodia This Week


H.E. Wanmuhamadnoor Matha, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official and friendly visit to Cambodia this week, at the invitation of Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei KHUON Sudary, President of Cambodia’s National Assembly (NA).

According to an announcement of the General Secretariat of Cambodian NA this morning, during his visit in Cambodia from Mar. 21 to 23, H.E. Wanmuhamadnoor Matha is scheduled to pay separate courtesy calls on Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei SAY Chhum, Acting Head of State; Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN Sen, President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King; and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

The Thai House Speaker will also hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Kitti Setha Pundit CHEAM Yeap, Acting President of the Cambodian NA, to strengthen and expand the ties of friendship and cooperation between the legislative bodies of both neighbouring countries, the source added.

Besides, H.E. Wanmuhamadnoor Matha will attend the 8th National Ramadan Iftar Dinner, concluded the announcement.
