Head of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC) in Montreal, Canada, Mr. Kelvin K. Mo led a delegation to hear investment opportunities in Cambodia at the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
Deputy Secretary General of the CDC’s Cambodian Investment Board H.E. Nut Unvoanra warmly received the visiting delegation here in Phnom Penh on Jun. 5.
He briefed his guests about the latest developments in Cambodia, including comprehensive reforms to support investment setting, macroeconomic stability, and steady growth of investment flows.
Cambodia, he added, has put in place the necessary legal and policy frameworks and investment incentives for cost-effective business operations.
The country is also investing substantially in human resources development and the necessary physical infrastructure to enhance Cambodia’s competitive advantage.
The visiting delegation appreciated all the information shared and promised to further disseminate it to attract Canadian investments to Cambodia.
They also highlighted their interests in investing in agriculture and processing, tourism, health, real estate, services, and industry.
