The MoU was signed here on the afternoon of July 22 between H.E. Seng Sopheap, CADT President and H.E. Jacques Pellet, French Ambassador to Cambodia under the witness of Minister of Post and Telecommunications H.E. Chea Vandeth.
The MoU aims to continue the joint financing cooperation in providing scholarships to outstanding Cambodian students to pursue their PhD studies in Digital Technology at French universities, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications pointed out.
This collaboration is an effort to increase digital capital human resources and enhance research and innovation capabilities to support the achievement of the Cambodia Digital Skills Development Roadmap 2024-2035, the source added.
According to the French Embassy, with a total number of 27 scholarships co-financed with the embassy since 2018, this agreement strengthens academic and scientific collaboration with French academic and scientific institutions, and offers excellent training opportunities in France, in key areas such as data sciences and artificial intelligence.
