Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on July 30 paid an inspection visit of the progress of road renovation along the Cambodia-Vietnam border in Kratie and Mondulkiri provinces.
On his official social networks, Samdech Thipadei said today, there was no official programme, therefore he took the opportunity to inspect road repair activities as well as the people’s living conditions along the Cambodia-Vietnam border in the provinces of Kratie and Mondulkiri.
On the occasion, the Premier met with people in Kabi Market, Kranhong Senchey commune, Snuol district, Kratie province. After that, he visited the troops stationed at Chey Khlaing border gate in Kratie province and Lapakhe border gate in Mondulkiri province.
“The force that can most effectively and sustainably defend territorial integrity, especially along the border, is the people, not the armed forces,” Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister underlined.
Therefore, he continued, the economic and social development, including the construction of interconnected infrastructure, as well as the improvement of the living standards of the people along the border are necessary.
