The Silk Road Maritime International Cooperation Forum has played a key role in dialogue facilitation, trade promotion and country connectivity around the world.
According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), the remark was made on Sept. 7 in Xiamen port city of China’s Fujian province by H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and Fist Vice President of the CDC, in his keynote address at the two-day (Sept. 7-8) 6th Silk Road Maritime International Cooperation Forum, under the theme “Integrating Ports, Shipping and Trading Services.”
H.E. SUN Chanthol continued that, in addition to infrastructure connectivity and port, shipping and trade cooperation, Cambodia had seen many opportunities for investment affairs, such as in the areas of technology, renewable energy and sustainable development.
Cambodia is convinced that continuing to build a robust foundation of relations and joint cooperation will be able to open new opportunity for growth and development which will benefit not only bilaterally, but also regionally, and beyond, leading to the future of peace, prosperity and joint success, underlined the Cambodian DPM.
