The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC) has planned to conduct a study to build a running track and a cycleway along the beach from Kep province to Koh Kong province.
The plan was revealed by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the inauguration ceremony of the 12,645-metre-long Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road in Kep this morning.
The coastal provinces of Cambodia all have their own potential, said the Premier, adding that we can study a cycleway construction project because some people can ride a bike from Phnom Penh to Kep for both entertainment and health, and they can continue their trip to other provinces.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also laid stress on the many infrastructural achievements contributing to the country’s economic development during the first 15 months of the 7th-mandate Royal Government.
Cambodia’s coastline stretches about 450 kilometres in four provinces – Kep, Kampot, Preah Sihanouk, and Koh Kong.
