Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has extended best wishes to H.E. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, and H.E. Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, on the joyous occasion of the Chinese Lunar New Year 2025.
In his separate messages AKP received this afternoon, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister laid stress on the strong and enduring cordial ties between Cambodia and China, with stronger political trust than ever before and thriving economic, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges. The two nations have shared resolve in jointly building a high-quality, high-level, and high-standard Cambodia-China community of shared future in the new era, and further consolidating their iron-clad friendship, he added.
“May I also congratulate the Government and the people of China for the resounding successes achieved in every field, which have put China on the steady path towards the second centenary goals in 2049. Thanks to your wise leadership, China has been transformed into the second largest economic power and a strong leader in scientific and technological advancement, with growing leadership role in international affairs,” read the message to H.E. Xi Jinping.
In his message to Chinese Premier H.E. Li Qiang, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his sincere appreciation to the government of the People’s Republic of China for its steadfast support and indispensable assistance, which have contributed to the Cambodia’s socio-economic development. “As we continue to deepen our comprehensive strategic partnership and further solidify our warm relations, I wish the friendly people of China even greater achievements and a prosperous New Year,” he said.
This year, Chinese Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival fall on Jan. 29.
