Cambodian NA President Extends New Year Best Wishes to Chinese and Vietnamese Counterparts


Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, has extended her congratulations and best wishes to her Chinese and Vietnamese counterparts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

“I express my satisfaction with the achievements accomplished through the parliamentary cooperation between our countries. I am confident that these relations, characterised by mutual respect, mutual trust, and mutual understanding, will continue to flourish for the mutual benefit of our peoples,” she wrote in her recent message to H.E. Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China.

In her message to H.E. Tran Thanh Man, NA Chairman of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Samdech Khuon Sudary stated, “We have enjoyed longstanding ties of friendship, good neighboúrliness, and comprehensive cooperation between our two legislative bodies and countries in both bilateral and multilateral arenas. I believe that the warm relations of mutual respect and mutual understanding will continue to deepen in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our peoples.

” The Cambodian NA president ended her messages with her best wishes for a happy and prosperous Lunar New Year to her Chinese and Vietnamese counterparts. The Chinese Lunar New Year (Spring Festival) and the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) fall this year on Jan. 29.
