Samdech Hun Sen Sends Congratulatory Messages to Vietnamese Leaders


President of the Cambodian Senate, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has expressed his congratulations to Vietnamese top leaders on the occasion of the Vietnamese New Year.

“On the festive occasion of the Vietnamese New Year, I would like to extend my warmest and best wishes to Your Excellency and the friendly people of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam,” he said in separate messages to H.E. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV); H.E. Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; H.E. Tranh Tanh Man, President of the National Assembly of Viet Nam; and H.E. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of Viet Nam.

“I strongly believe that the New Year inspires us to deepen our traditional friendship, good neighbourliness, solidarity, trust, mutual understanding, and win-win cooperation for the best interests of our peoples and nations,” he continued.

The Cambodian Senate President concluded his messages with best wishes of good health, happiness, and greater successes to the Vietnamese top leaders.

The Vietnamese Lunar New Year or Tet falls this year on Jan. 29.
