The Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports speaks highly of nongovernmental organisations, including Exceed Worldwide, Mine-Ex Foundation, and ICRC, for their active contribution to promoting the welfare of people with disabilities as well as victims of mines and remnants of war.
H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, expressed his appreciation in his meeting with the NGO delegations at the ministry on Feb. 10.
Their support, from education access to livelihood improvement, have brought positive changes to the lives of those people, especially children and youth, making them an indispensable resource for Cambodia.
The minister and the NGO delegations also discussed further support to promote Cambodian people with disabilities to ensure their meaningful participation in the country’s socio-economic development.
