ASEAN Ambassadors Express Strong Interest in Cambodia’s Green Season Tourism Potential

Ambassadors from all ASEAN member countries have expressed keen interest in Cambodia’s tourism potential, particularly the lush and vibrant landscapes during the Green Season, according to a news release from the Ministry of Tourism on Thursday.

At the invitation of ambassadors from the other nine ASEAN countries, H.E. Huot Hak, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, attended a luncheon yesterday to discuss tourism promotion strategies and ways to attract both domestic and international visitors during the Green Season, which spans from May to October.

During the event, H.E. Minister Huot Hak highlighted Cambodia’s tourism strengths and introduced the “Visit Cambodia ” campaign during the beautiful green season, launched by the Royal Government of Cambodia in 2025.

As part of this initiative, the Ministry of Tourism has been tasked with coordinating efforts between tour operators and relevant authorities. This includes facilitating discounts on tourism products and services, as well as ensuring safety and comfort for all visitors. The goal is to boost tourism during the Green Season by showcasing Cambodia’s natural beauty at a time when the countryside is in full bloom, offering fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and a rejuvenating atmosphere.

This season presents a unique opportunity for travellers to experience Cambodia’s tranquil and refreshing environment, ideal for relaxation and mental and physical rejuvenation, stressed the Ministry of Tourism.
