H.E. Huot Hak, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, received Mr. Chin Rattana, a poet and youth leader based in Renton City, Washington State, USA, along with his team this weekend.
According to the ministry, the meeting was held to extend formal greetings and request advice and recommendations related to Cambodia’s tourism sector.
On the occasion, Mr. Chin Rattana presented the book “Travel Exploration of Cambodia,” which highlights Cambodia’s tourism potential—its culture, history, nature, and traditional customs—as well as the country’s tourism development to the international community.
H.E. Minister expressed his deep gratitude, appreciation, and high regard for the initiative to compile such a meaningful book focused on Cambodia’s tourism sector. He acknowledged it as a vital effort in promoting Cambodia’s rich tourism potential and investment climate to the world.
In addition, Mr. Chin Rattana pledged to help further promote the real situation in Cambodia, as observed firsthand by him and his team. He affirmed that Cambodia is a peaceful country with strong political stability, excellent public safety, and comprehensive development in all sectors—particularly warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, delicious cuisine, and diverse entertainment.
All of these elements contribute to encouraging more and more international tourists, including U.S. citizens, to visit Cambodia, he underlined.
