Samdech Kitti Sangahapundit Men Sam An, Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King and President of the National Council for Solidarity and Development of Cambodia Motherland, has donated essential food supplies and financial aid to military personnel stationed along the Cambodia-Thailand border in Preah Vihear province.
During the donation ceremony today, Samdech Men Sam An conveyed warm greetings and engaged with senior officers, deputy commanders, and soldiers. She was accompanied by H.E. Vong Sauth Second Vice President of the National Assembly and Vice President of the above-mentioned National Council, and his spouse.
H.E. Gen. Ith Sarath, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) expressed profound gratitude to the Royal Government for its consistent support. He specifically thanked Samdech Men Sam An and H.E. Vong Sauth, stating their visit significantly boosted the morale of troops dedicated to defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity on the front lines.
Samdech Men Sam An relayed regards and best wishes from former Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony.
She expressed deep admiration for the soldiers’ unwavering dedication and sacrifices in service to the nation, religion, and monarchy.
Emphasising the purpose of her visit, Samdech Men Sam An stated it was to encourage and support the troops safeguarding Cambodia’s sovereignty and borders, praising their exceptional bravery and patriotism.
Samdech Men Sam An concluded by urging the troops to continue their vital mission of protecting the nation for future generations.
