Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has expressed appreciation to Cambodia’s police forces for their crucial role in maintaining peace and social order and urged them to continue their efforts with greater responsibility, particularly during the current border tensions with Thailand.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony at the Police Academy of Cambodia in Kien Svay district, Kandal province, this morning, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet acknowledged the significant contributions of the National Police in ensuring security and stability across the country.
He emphasised that the National Police have achieved notable results in maintaining internal security, combating terrorism, and taking action against transnational crimes, including online scams, drug trafficking, human trafficking, illegal gambling, and gang-related activities. The police have also closely cooperated with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
To further strengthen their contributions to peace and public order, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet encouraged all officers to continue enhancing their capacity, professionalism, and commitment in service to the nation and its people.
