Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, the Honorary President of the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, visited a 10-year-old child on Aug. 4 who was seriously injured by an explosive device.
The visit took place at Jayavarman VII Hospital in Siem Reap province, where the child is receiving treatment.
The boy was seriously wounded with severe flesh and a hip bone injuries from the Thai army’s shelling fragment at the Tamone Thom Temple battle site on July 24. The honorary president’s visit to the Emergency and Trauma Ward provided comfort and encouragement to the child, other patients, and their families.
In a statement, the leadership and staff of Jayavarman VII Hospital, also known as Kantha Bopha III – Siem Reap, extended their gratitude to Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony for her compassionate gesture.
They also offered their best wishes for her health, wisdom, and success. The hospital staff further extended their blessings to her husband, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and their children, wishing them longevity and prosperity.
