Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence has reported that Thai forces are expanding their military operations by striking new targets deeper inside Cambodian territory.
According to a press release, the Thai military deployed F-16 fighter jets this morning to drop two bombs near a displaced civilians’ camp in Srei Snam district, Siem Reap province.
The airstrike occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2025, the Ministry said.
Srei Snam district is located approximately 190 kilometres by road from the Cambodia-Thailand border and about 60 kilometres from Siem Reap city.
