Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will lead a delegation to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat (AMM Retreat) and Related Meeting in Cebu, the Philippines, at the invitation of his Philippine counterpart H.E. Ms. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro.
This regional meeting is scheduled to be held on Jan. 28-29, 2026, under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together.”
The retreat will review the progress made since the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits held in Malaysia, and deliberate on the priorities and key deliverables under the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship for 2026, with the aim of achieving the ASEAN Community 2045.
The Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on ASEAN’s external relations and its centrality in the evolving regional architecture, as well as on regional and international issues of common interest and concern, including developments in Myanmar.
On the sidelines of the Retreat, the Deputy Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold separate meetings with some of his ASEAN counterparts to further advance bilateral relations and cooperation for mutual interest and benefit.
