G Adventures Seeks Ministry of Tourism’s Support for GX Summit 2026 in Cambodia

Global travel company G Adventures has requested the support and coordination of Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism in organising the 2026 Global Tour Operators Summit (GX Summit 2026) in the Kingdom.

The request was made during a courtesy call granted by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, to Mr. Mark Howarth Archer, representative of G Adventures, and his colleagues on Feb. 26 at the Ministry of Tourism headquarters.

During the meeting, G Adventures formally sought the Ministry’s assistance in facilitating the organisation of the international event and global tour operator meeting in Cambodia. The company proposed, among other activities, the organisation of a local product exhibition at Wat Phnom and a temple tour in Siem Reap province as part of the GX Summit 2026 programme.

In response, H.E. Huot Hak expressed his appreciation and thanked G Adventures for choosing Cambodia as the host country for the major international event. He confirmed that the Ministry of Tourism agreed to support the company’s requests.

At the same time, the Minister commended G Adventures for its initiative and reaffirmed that Cambodia is a safe tourist destination with strong potential for tourism, investment, and the hosting of global events. He expressed hope that the organisation of the GX Annual Summit 2026 in Cambodia would contribute to promoting the tourism sector and enhancing Cambodia’s visibility in the international market.
