Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has congratulated H.E. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), on his election as President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the First Plenary Session of the 16th National Assembly.
“Your election to this highest office clearly reflects your exceptional leadership and strong resolve for the country’s rapid development and greater prosperity,” Samdech Techo Hun Sen underlined in his congratulatory message dated April 7.
“I am gratified by the fact that the longstanding relationship between our two countries has been built on the solid foundation of solidarity, trust, mutual understanding, comprehensive cooperation, and long-lasting stability. I am confident that under your leadership our bilateral ties will be further strengthened and developed to new heights,” he added.
The Cambodian Acting Head of State also reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to continue working closely with H.E. To Lam to deepen the bilateral cooperation, both at the bilateral and multilateral levels, for the benefit of the two peoples and for the cause of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
Samdech Techo concluded his message by wishing H.E. To Lam good health, happiness, and success in all his endeavours.
