The draft self-assessment report on the Second Review Cycle of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in Cambodia was endorsed this morning by the Council of Ministers.
This important document was approved in the meeting of the Council Minister held at the Peace Palace under the presidency of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
The draft report was prepared by the Anti-Corruption Unit through various discussion with different stakeholders since early 2018 and it consists of 600 pages.
The self-assessment exercise was among the steps required by the review process guided by the UN Convention against Corruption.
According to United Nations, the review process requires the input from a broad range of institutions and stakeholders.
