Cambodia, RoK to Strengthen Cultural Cooperation


The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have been committed to fostering their cultural cooperation.

H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture, and newly appointed Ambassador of RoK to Cambodia H.E. Dr. PARK Jung-Wook confirmed the commitment during their meeting here at the ministry early this week.

During the meeting, H.E. Minister highlighted the good cultural cooperation between the two countries via various partners, particularly in the restoration of some temples in the Angkor area, as well as the cooperation with the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Royal University of Fine Arts.

For his part, H.E. Ambassador pledged to strengthen the cultural cooperation between the two countries during his diplomatic term in the Kingdom.
