New Australian Praises Cambodia’s Rapid Development


H.E. Justin Kevin Whyatt, newly appointed Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, has spoken highly of Cambodia’s rapid development in all sectors.

The appreciation was made during his courtesy meeting with Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate of Cambodia, at the Senate Palace in Phnom Penh on April. 4.

Samdech Say Chhum extended a warm welcome to H.E.Justin Kevin Whyatt, stressing that their visit is a testimony to the good ties of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples and nations.

Samdech Say Chhum also expressed his satisfaction with the growing trade exchange between Cambodia and Australia, and took the opportunity to thank the Australian Government for its development cooperation assistance.

For his part, H.E. Ambassador spoke highly of Cambodia’s rapid development, underlining that this is his second ever mission to Cambodia, which reflects the strengthening and expansion of the existing and future relations and cooperation between both countries.

H.E. Justin Kevin Whyatt congratulated the great achievements to the Royal Government of Cambodia on the success of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits, and COVID-19 management.
