Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has instructed the Ministry of Justice to well manage the criminal policy, especially in the current circumstances.
The Premier made the instruction while presiding over here this morning the inauguration ceremony of a new building of the Court of Justice of the Ministry of Justice located in Sangkat Prek Tasek, Khan Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh.
“In the current circumstance, in order to ensure the country’s peace and political stability, the control of criminal policy is a necessary obligation to which the Royal Government must pay attention,” he said.
On behalf of the government in the Supreme Council of the Magistracy, he added, the Ministry of Justice needs to firmly control criminal policy, in particular when extremism continues to exist in Cambodia.
This point should not be underestimated, Samdech Techo Hun Sen underlined, taking an example of the current situation in a neighbouring country and Russia.
