Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this morning visiting Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) of Malaysia H.E. Tan Sri Dato’ Johari bin Abdul.
In the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his warm welcome to H.E. Tan Sri Dato’ Johari bin Abdul for his presence as an international observer for the 7th National Election in Cambodia, to be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023.
The Cambodian Premier said his presence will contribute to strengthening the bilateral relations, as well as witnessing the democratic process of the Kingdom.
For his part, H.E. Tan Sri Dato’ Johari bin Abdul expressed his appreciation for the current achievement and progress in Cambodia compared to his previous visit more than 20 years ago.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister thanked H.E. Tan Sri Dato’ Johari bin Abdul for his positive remarks on Cambodia’s infrastructure, peace, and other achievements, and shared with his guest the real situation of Cambodia, and the current bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
