The Royal Government of Cambodia believes that the 2023 Conference of Global Public Security Forum will be able to bring together comprehensive measures to address common security concerns in the common cause of peace, development and prosperity for all the nations.
The remarks were made by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet in the 2023 Conference of Global Public Security Forum on Sept. 20.
The forum provided opportunities for all relevant agencies, especially law enforcement agencies from different countries, to exchange views and key experiences to serve their country’s security and global security, the Cambodian Premier underlined.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that the conference reflects the current reality, a long-term vision of the need for comprehensive and sustainable cooperation, focusing on maintaining global security, to create opportunities for socio-economic prosperity for all.
This long-term vision is also consistent with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s commitment at both political and technical levels to promote security cooperation for peace, security, harmony and development at the national, regional and international levels, he said.
In this sense, he continued, the Royal Government is ready to participate in the preparation of relevant policy instruments to promote closer linkages between law enforcement forces from all stakeholders.
