Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has shared his insight over the meaning of “development”.
Addressing the official inauguration ceremony of a cable-stayed bridge between Koh Norea development area and Koh Pich satellite city in Phnom Penh this afternoon, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said a real development is the development that benefits the people.
“Real development is the distribution of benefits to the people,” he underlined.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said this new achievement will further diversify and distribute the benefits to the people.
“All have realised the benefits of the construction of this bridge,” the Premier said, adding that this area will become residential, business and trade zone, a tourist attraction, and so on.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stressed that this bridge is also a main testimony to the development orientation to the eastern part of Phnom Penh capital.
