Cambodia and DanChurch Aid (DCA) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on joint disaster risk reduction and emergency response in Cambodia.
The MoU was signed here at the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) on Mar. 13 by H.E. Hang Samoeun, NCDM’s Second Vice President, and Mr. Guy Clarke, DCA Country Director for Cambodia.
The three-year MoU will enable NCDM and DCA Cambodia to cooperate in implementing activities related to joint disaster risk reduction and emergency response in Cambodia, H.E. Hang Samoeun said.
The NCDM’s second vice president thanked the DCA Cambodia for its close cooperation with the NCDM and encouraged the DCA to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation, particularly through the organisation of national and international forums, seminars, training courses; gender mainstreaming; and so on.
